Megan Fluehr

Education: Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Autism Spectrum Disorder from Kutztown University, Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University

Areas of experience/specialty: I work well with individuals with autism spectrum disorder and co-occurring diagnoses such as anxiety, ADHD, and depression. I have experience counseling teens and adults requiring support with anxiety, depression, grief and loss, OCD, ADHD, and more.

Previous experience/positions: I have ongoing experience working as a Registered Behavior Technician with experience in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis since 2017. I completed an 8-month internship at Haven House as a mental health therapist.

Approach to counseling: I have an eclectic approach to counseling, using theories and techniques that best fit the individual needs of my clients. I largely pull from person-centered and cognitive behavioral therapy. I value the therapeutic relationship and enjoy working with my clients to help them gain a better understanding of themselves, identify and process their emotions, work towards healing from trauma, and accomplish their goals.
